Trinity Donovan
Trinity Donovan is Vice President, Community Impact, for the Valley of the Sun United Way and a Councilmember for the City of Chandler. Trinity has served on the City of Chandler’s National Hispanic Heritage Month Planning Committee, 2000 Bond Committee, Census 2000 Committee, Chandler Wellbeing Task Force and the Build Out and Beyond Committee. She also served on the Domestic Violence Local Coordinating Council and is a past Board Member of the Governor's Alliance Against Drugs and the Intel Community Advisory Panel. She is a member of the Governor's Earned Income Tax Credit Task Force and the Maricopa Association of Government's Continuum of Care Committee. She is active in her church and performs service projects throughout South and Central America in addition to working with a non-profit school in India. Trinity attended Chandler High School and holds a bachelor's degree in Comparative Studies in Race and Ethnicity, and a master's degree in Sociology – both from Stanford University. She was honored by the Business Journal as a 2006 "Forty under 40" achiever, received the 2004 Chandler Alliance for Character Award, was a 2001 IMPACT for Enterprising Women Celebration of Success Honoree, and in 2003 was awarded the Stanford Associates Achievement Award. She also attended and graduated Chandler Leadership and Valley Leadership.
Richard Fraizer
Richard Frazier is the Vice President and Executive Director of the CHW Foundation – East Valley, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports Catholic Healthcare West facilities and programs in the Southeast Valley through philanthropy. Mr. Frazier is responsible for the design and implementation of strategic fundraising plans for Chandler Regional Hospital, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center and other related entities. He also sits on the Foundation Board of Directors, which shares responsibility for strategic planning, policy development and fundraising execution.
As Vice President of the Foundation, Mr. Frazier maintains broad and diverse relationships throughout the East Valley, the state and the nation. He volunteers his time on the Corporate Board of the East Valley Boys and Girls Club and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Healthcare Professionals. He is also a graduate of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute Class of 2002 and is past president of the Chandler Ocotillo Rotary. Previously, Mr. Frazier has served on the Board of Directors for the East Valley Community Bank in Chandler and for Bands of America Inc. and the Revellie Foundation, located in the Chicago area.
Mr. Frazier holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Arkansas State University in Radio and Television Communication. He has been a Chandler resident since 1995, having moved to the state from Fayetteville, Arkansas in 1994. He and his wife of 19 years, Carol, have three children – Haven, Jack and Mallory.
Personally, Mr. Frazier is an active musician who regularly plays trombone and harmonica at Chandler Christian Church.
Charmaine Gudgeon
Charmaine Gudgeon is the District Executive Director for the Valley of the Sun YMCA where she is the Director of the Chandler/Gilbert YMCA and oversees the Mesa YMCA. Charmaine is responsible for all aspects of branch operations including board development, fundraising, strategic planning and new facility development.
Charmaine currently is serving on the board of the Chandler Rotary Club, Intel Community Advisory Panel and Co-chairs the Chandler Non-Profit Coalition. She is a member of the Association of Y Professional (AYP) and is a graduate of The Chandler Chamber of Commerce Leadership Institute Class of 2005. She is a graduate of Springfield University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Science with an emphasis in Human Services. She and her husband George currently reside in Chandler with their two son’s Justin and Austin
GLENNA MCCOLLUM-CLOUD, MPH, RD
Ms. McCollum-Cloud has served on the Chandler Education Foundation (CEF) Board since 1993 and has been the Executive Director since 1997. She is native to the Chandler community and is an alumnus of Chandler High School. Glenna received her Bachelors from Arizona State University, her Masters from Loma Linda University, and is a Doctoral Candidate from the University of Phoenix. She has served in various leadership capacities in the Chandler community, the State of Arizona, and also at the national level.
As Executive Director of the Chandler Education Foundation, a non-profit organization established for the purpose of supporting educational endeavors in the Chandler community and in collaboration with the Chandler Unified School District, Ms. McCollum-Cloud is responsible for fund-raising, management, and implementation of CEF endeavors. Under her direction, fundraising levels have increased from $200,000 annually to $1,000,000+ annually.
Glenna collaborates with community businesses and organizations for the purpose of scholarship development and program support. She serves as a community liaison for numerous community organizations, committees and educational institutions. In 2006, Glenna was instrumental in helping the Foundation to secure a 3.5 million dollar PIRC (Parent Information Resource Grant) from the US Department of Education and
Develop. In addition, she innovatively facilitated the development of a new program, Giggles, Squiggles, and Squirms, an at-home instruction program for preschoolers.
In addition to her leadership responsibilities with CEF, Glenna worked in collaboration with other Chandler 501(c)3 non-profit organizations to form the Chandler Non-profit Coalition. She is a graduate from the Chandler Leadership Institute and Arizona’s Project CENTRL (Center for Rural Leadership). She is very active in the Arizona and American Dietetic Associations and has been Director of Nutrition at one of Arizona's Community Colleges for the past 18 years.
